Peace begins in the heart....after basic needs are met!

Today on International Day of Peace,  Amman Imman: Water is Life is launching the Wells of Love program for the 2012-2013 school year with this proclamation:

Peace begins in the heart....after basic needs are met.   

Amman Imman thanks all the students, parents and teacher who have given their time, love and compassion to raise funds and help build these Wells of Love, that bring the most essential of elements  - water - to the people of the Azawak.

The people of the Azawak are beautiful. In spite of their circumstances, they emanate dignity and grace.  If you are their guest, they will give you their last cup of milk.  Surely they deserve to have water, these brothers and sisters on our planet earth!

Please join our coalition of schools, and help us bring water to where there is none.

Let's celebrate peace!

Let's come together as peacemakers for the resilient people of the Azawak, and give them the opportunity to have peace!
