Double Generosity

At school, Kieran and Callum learned about the Azawak region when their class studied Africa. Last spring, the boys and their family participated in A Walk For Water as part of Oneness-Family School's partnership with Amman Imman.

Concerned that the children of the Azawak do not have any water, the twins wanted to help even more. When they turned 5 years old on October 16, 2008, they decided that rather than receive presents, they would ask their friends to donate money toward Amman Imman's project to build borehole wells for the children of the Azawak.

Twenty-two of their friends joined them at a local park to celebrate their birthday. In lieu of gifts, the boys raised $355 for Amman Imman. Kieran and Callum plan to continue helping and raising funds.
